- AI is a fantastic tool to help you write parts of your entry, but our judges have noticed in the past that AI generated entries have tended to be wordy, and while often beautifully written, don't include enough "meat" for the business to be effectively judged. While using AI to help structure your response, suggest some content and polish up an entry may be really effective, only you really know your business! Make sure that any answer you submit is fleshed out with enough actual detail to help the judges truly understand it and its nuances.
- Yes! You can edit an entry right up until the closing deadline, even if you have ticked the "Ready for Judging" box and submitted it. Our judges don't begin the judging process until the closing deadline is passed, so feel free to add information or update it as often as you'd like. It might also be an idea to come back and add in a big win or important milestone if it happens between finishing your entry and the closing date.
- All New Zealand-based businesses with up to 10 full time employees (or the equivalent) are eligible to enter The David Awards. For more detail and clarification please see our Rules page.
- Our entry form is simple and makes the process easy. Be sure to read the help text as you go through the entry and you will find some great suggestions from the Judges here, to help your entry stand out.
