Yes, there's no obligation to enter any other category. If you wish, you can enter up to three other categories in addition to the People's Choice Award.
Each entry in The People's Choice category gets its own page. When you submit your completed entry, you are given your own unique link to that page. You can also scroll through the entries on our People's Choice page to find yours and copy the address from your browser's address bar. Once voting starts, there will be a button at the bottom of this page for people to click on to vote for you. The page also has social media sharing buttons to help you promote your entry through various channels and of course, you can share your entry page's URL in your newsletters, email signature, and any other promotional material.
You can (and should!) promote your entry through social media, newsletters, and any other way you want to. The more you promote your entry, the more votes you'll get!
Everyone records their email address when they vote. This helps minimise the risk of double voting.
It's a fair guess that most entrants will vote for themselves, so why shouldn't you?
The winner is the entry with the most votes. Our Judges are not involved in judging this category.
