The Post Pet Meds journey began in 2024 with the heart of one veterinarian and a mission to help to make essential pet medications and veterinary-recommended products more accessible and affordable for every pet owner in Aotearoa. After working in many parts of New Zealand, our founder, veterinarian Linda noticed a common challenge: many pet families struggled to keep up with essential medications or special diets—especially when their pets were managing long-term health issues. That insight led to the creation of Post Pet Meds, a registered online pet pharmacy, where pet owners can order pet prescription medications with a valid vet script, and access a curated range of trusted, NZ-sourced pet care products. Our goal is to make ongoing pet care easier, more affordable, and accessible—no matter where you live. We don’t aim to replace your vet—we aim to bridge the gap. We’re here to support ongoing care, making it easier and more affordable for owners to follow through on treatment plans, particularly for long-term or chronic conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, gut problems or any of the ailments from which our beloved pets may suffer. We are tiny but our reach is truly national—we ship across New Zealand, bringing high-quality pet healthcare products to homes from city suburbs to remote rural communities. Every product is selected with care, backed by clinical experience and veterinary science.
