About My Business
Whisked by Lauren is a home-based bakery in Darfield, Canterbury, built from a passion for creating delicious homemade baking that brings people together. Every treat is baked from scratch in my home kitchen with care, quality ingredients, and plenty of love. My goal has always been simple—to create baking that not only tastes amazing but also helps make everyday moments and special occasions a little sweeter. Each week I release a new menu featuring a mix of customer favourites and exciting new creations. From slices, cookies and cheesecakes to cupcakes, fudge, cookie cakes and seasonal treats, everything is freshly baked, carefully packaged, and made with the same care I would give to family and friends. One of my proudest achievements has been becoming MPI verified. Reaching this milestone reflects my commitment to food safety, high standards, and giving my customers confidence that they are receiving quality products from a trusted home bakery. As the business has grown, I have also expanded my delivery area across more of Selwyn, making it possible for even more people to enjoy my baking. Whisked by Lauren is about much more than sweet treats—it's about community. The support I have received has been incredible and far beyond anything I imagined when I first started. Every order, review, recommendation, and shared Facebook post has helped my small business grow. Seeing customers return week after week and recommend me to their family and friends is the greatest compliment I could receive, and I am grateful for every person who has supported me. As a wife and mum of two young children, building this business has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life.
