About My Business MNR Consultants NZ Ltd is a specialist luxury product brokerage and strategic brand placement business, founded in 2017 in honour of my grandmother, Myrtle Nance Reid. We help ambitious New Zealand and international brands find the right commercial opportunities, build strategic partnerships and grow their presence in premium markets. Our philosophy is simple: placement, not distribution. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to selling products, we look at the bigger picture. We identify where a brand belongs, who its ideal customers are and which businesses and decision-makers can help unlock its next stage of growth. We work across a diverse range of sectors, including premium food and beverages, wine, beauty, wellness, gifts and lifestyle products. Depending on the brand, opportunities may include grocery and retail, liquor, hospitality, hotels, duty-free, cruise, specialty retail, pharmacy, corporate gifting, VIP events and international markets. Our role is to create the connections that can turn potential into opportunity. We work closely with the brands we represent, understanding their story, values, products and ambitions before developing a tailored commercial strategy. We then use our industry knowledge, relationships and business development expertise to identify relevant opportunities and make strategic introductions. MNR Consultants is different from a traditional distributor. We don't believe every product needs to be everywhere. We believe the right product needs to be in the right place, with the right partner, at the right time. Our work is about more than securing a listing or making a sale. It is about helping brands build credibility, strengthen their positioning and create sustainable pathways for growth. Over the years, MNR Consultants has continued to evolve, expanding from a New Zealand-focused brokerage into a broader strategic partnerships and commercial growth business. We are increasingly focused on connecting New Zealand brands with international opportunities and global markets, while continuing to champion premium brands within New Zealand. For almost nine years, I have worked to build a business that does more than sell products. I have built a business around people, relationships, opportunity and the belief that great New Zealand brands deserve the chance to be discovered.
