About My Business
Case In Point Design Studio is a boutique branding and website design business based in Tauranga, helping small business owners across New Zealand and Australia turn their ideas into cohesive, confident, and beautifully executed brands and websites that convert as the working asset for their business.. Founded in 2012 and run by Zoe Sizemore, a designer with over twenty years of experience in visual marketing, the studio is built on a deep understanding of what it actually takes to run a small business. Zoe has walked that road herself, which is why her work is grounded in strategy, simplicity, and storytelling rather than design for design's sake. Her clients are mostly self-employed business owners who are brilliant at what they do but ready for help getting their brand to match. Recent work has spanned a print campaign for Bruntwood Lane, a New Zealand felted wool soap brand; a brand strategy for a local Physio; a holistic identity for Nature Enabled Wellness; and an immersive gothic travel platform that needed branding as adventurous as its concept. Each project begins with the same question: what does this business genuinely stand for, and how do we make that unmistakable to the right people? Case In Point (or CIP for short) offers something big agencies rarely do, a genuine one-on-one partnership. Zoe doesn't disappear behind project managers, she guides clients through the process, explains the why behind every decision, and leaves them with the tools and confidence to stay consistent long after the project wraps. Services span brand identity, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify website design, SEO-focused copywriting, publication and packaging design, and print collateral, with a strong commitment to sustainable design choices. CIP encourages clients to think carefully about how their brand collateral can be both beautiful and purposeful, prioritising eco-conscious print solutions and design that earns its keep. Whether it's a wellness practitioner, a tradesperson, an educator, or a creative entrepreneur, the result is the same: a brand that reflects who they truly are, works hard behind the scenes, and feels like an honest extension of how they show up in the world. Because branding done well isn't a luxury, it's the quietest, most consistent salesperson a business has.
Why We Should Win The Peoples Choice Award
Why people should vote for Case In Point Design Studio If you've ever stared at your own website wondering why it isn't bringing in clients, rewritten the same Instagram post four times because the wording feels off, or quietly panicked about whether your logo is "good enough", you already know why this work matters. Branding and design aren't fluffy extras for small business owners. They're what makes you excited to send someone to your website or wear your logo on a tee shirt. I started Case In Point Design Studio in 2012 because I wanted to share agency skills with small businesses, giving them expert service for an affordable price. No paying for someones fancy office overheads. Someone who explains things in plain language, treats every business with respect regardless of budget, and genuinely cares whether the work pays off after the invoice is paid. Thirteen years on, that's still the heart of it. The reason I'd love your vote is because solo-run businesses like mine rarely get the spotlight. We don't have marketing departments. We don't have flashy launches or ball gowns for big business awards. We have a laptop, a notebook full of half-formed ideas, and a fierce commitment to the people who trust us with something as personal as their brand. A People's Choice win would be a nod to every other solo business owner who's quietly doing brilliant work and a reminder that small doesn't mean less. What I love most about this job is watching the moment a client realises their business looks the way they always hoped it would. That moment when they stop apologising for their brnad/website and start sharing it proudly. When a brand identity finally matches the quality of the work behind it. When a Canva template library means they can produce a beautiful social post in five minutes instead of fifty. Those wins belong to my clients, but I get a front-row seat, and it never gets old. I also love that this work has ripple effects. A confident brand attracts better clients. A website that converts means fewer late nights chasing leads. A bit of automation know-how gives a sole trader their evenings back. Every project is really about giving someone their time, energy, and confidence back so they can focus on the parts of business they actually love. If you've worked with me, you already know how invested I get. If we haven't worked together yet, I hope this gives you a sense of what I bring to the table: clarity, honesty, beautiful design, and a stubborn belief that small businesses deserve every bit as much strategic thinking as the big end of town. A vote from you isn't just a vote for my business. It's a vote for solo operators everywhere, for genuine partnerships over polished pitches, and for the quiet brilliance of small businesses that just want to do great work for people they care about. Thank you for considering me. Whatever the outcome, I'm so grateful you took the time.
