Hibiscus JetSki Hire & Tours is a locally owned, owner operated water adventure business based on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula on Auckland’s Hibiscus Coast. From Big Manly Beach and surrounding launch points, we help locals, visitors, families, couples, groups and adventure seekers experience Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf from a completely different perspective: close to the water, full of freedom and supported by professional safety systems. We offer self-drive jet ski experiences ranging from quick 30 minute rides to longer scenic adventures, self-guided island style routes, fishing packages, sea biscuit fun, birthday outings, group and corporate experiences, photo and video packages and tow away hire. Every hire includes safety equipment, fitted lifejackets, fuel, clear instructions, a full safety briefing, route advice and local on-call support. Our Yamaha jet skis are GPS tracked, well maintained and suitable for first time riders as well as more experienced customers. What makes the business different is that we are not just hiring out jet skis. We are creating safe, memorable and flexible marine experiences that help people feel confident on the water. Some customers come for speed and excitement, others come for a family day out, a romantic surprise, a fishing mission, a milestone birthday, a corporate celebration or simply to see Auckland’s coastline, islands and marine environment from a new angle. Since taking over the business in 2024, I have worked to reposition Hibiscus JetSki Hire & Tours from a simple hire operation into a premium, safety led and experience focused local eco-tourism business. Customer trust has become our strongest proof. We are proud to hold a 5.0 Google rating, 480+ Google reviews, more than 800 public reviews across major platforms and Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice recognition in both 2024 and 2025. As a small local business, we also believe in giving back. We support schools, community groups, youth organisations, health fundraisers, emergency service causes, conservation related initiatives and local charity events. In September 2026, we are also planning a community music festival fundraiser for Starship. Our goal is simple to help people create unforgettable memories on Auckland’s doorstep while making JetSkiing feel safe, accessible, professional and welcoming. Because life is better on a JetSki.

It could help people build confidence, celebrate birthdays, surprise loved ones, take the kids off screens, go fishing, enjoy the coastline, try something completely new or simply feel alive on the water. Many people arrive nervous, unsure or completely new to jet skis. Seeing them return excited, proud and full of stories is the best part of the job.
